Today is Election Day here in the Great White North. Oddly enough, tomorrow is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year (Boston Globe story about this). I guess we will discover the truthfulness of this when we find out that we have a Conservative government tomorrow morning. *sigh*
As disenchanted as I am with the whole Canadian political system, I did get off my bum and vote. Oddly enough, I had planned to vote for one party and quanta for another. But we both convinced the other to switch our votes as we walked to our polling station. I guess in the end it worked out the same way.
