Before I was told to rest my hand I spent some time working on Chocolate Humbug Bag from Northern Pine Designs.
I think it is looking really pretty. To be honest, though, the instructions are a little confusing. Which is why I have to pull out this beautiful Jessica stitch:
I’m one row too low. Instead of ripping it out right now and restitching it, I’m going to do the diagonal line of stitches that mark the edge of this section. Then I will work up from them. But my heart will break when I have to rip out that lovely stitch. 🙁
Beautiful stitching! Your tension is perfect.
Love the colors in this piece that you are working on I look thru your blog and you are a very crafty and talented person.
Not sure how to add you to my blog so that everytime you post that I will get it.
Happy Stitching
Denise
Oh, what a shame 🙁 I’m sure you’ll have another one in the right place before you know it, and it will be just as beautiful.
Oh that hurts, doesn’t it? I hate it when that happens. On the up-side, at least you get to make something so beautiful twice….???? Maybe?
Linda’s instructions aren’t always clear – I struggle with them and I’ve stitched lots of her patterns and done lots of canvaswork. If you get stuck, let me know and I’ll try and help!
Wow it is looking really good. I think my heart would break too if I had to pull out that beautiful stitch. I think I would struggle to get one as nice as that looks. I love the colours as purple is my favourite colour.
I hope you’re feeling better soon – it’s rotten when you have to rest up, I know. Beautiful stitching though – does it really have to go?
Sorry to read that you have to unstitch that Rhodes stitch, it is beautiful. I love the hearts.
Ooohhh… Fancy stitching! I’ll just stick to my simple old X’s for now!
