Smalls SAL 2014 Recap

First, I’d like to say thank you very, very much to all the stitchers who stitched along with me during 2014. I know I’m terrible at leaving comments on blogs (I never know what to say!), but I looked at every single small that was stitched for the SAL and I loved them all. My mental to do list grew every month when I saw all the fabulous designs you all stitched.

For me, 2014 was the year of the Teresa Wentzler smalls. I loved stitching up old magazine designs and class pieces I had forgotten to finish. I’m sure many of you know I am a huge fan for TW, and for me stitching all these older designs was almost like having her designing again. It was great! (Okay, yes, an Enchanting Lair finish managed to sneak in back in July. No one is perfect. 😉 )

I do still need to sew up the Delightful Dragon Scissor Fob, and I never got around to doing the hardanger for the Cutwork Compass Rose, but I do feel like I got a lot done in 2014. Thank you to all of you for sticking around for the ride, and encouraging me in my stitching!

2015 Smalls SAL – Did you know that I’m doing it all over again this year, and that I want you to take part too? Head over here to learn all about the 2015 Smalls SAL. I hope you stitch along with me!

Great recap. The earlier ones are very un TW-like to me so my favourites are definitely the Cutwork Compass and the dragons (of course, the dragons! You know me).

Looking forward to the Smalls SAL next year. Mine will have a spooky flavour again.
