Birthday Giveaway!

Today is my birthday, and to celebrate I thought I would offer you a chance to win a small stitching prize.  It includes:

  • 3 Tapestry Tweens size 21 needles
  • DMC Latte chart
  • Brenda Franklin Cheetah chart
  • DMC Precious Family chart
  • DMC Metallic Floss Holiday Crafts booklet
  • Sue Hillis Put on your big girl panties and deal with it chart
  • Jeanette Douglas Stitching Ties chart

and, the best piece, one of PlanetJune‘s detail stuffing tools.  This is something I think every stitcher of smalls should have.  It makes stuffing biscornus, fobs and ornaments so much easier.

To enter, just leave a comment below.  If you’d like two entries, let me know if you do another craft besides cross stitching.

I’ll draw for the winner at about noon on Friday, May 14th.  Good luck!

I do a bunch of mostly needle related crafts- knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing (hand & machine)- I just can’t commit!

Happy Birthday! I hope you find a way to celebrate all week (if not all month) long!

I think I’ve done just about any craft I’ve attempted – I love cross stitch, especially with metallic floss and beads added. I enjoy making my own greeting cards, using stamps, ribbon, calligraphy, watercolor- whatever. I sew now and then (when I’m not put out with my quirky machine). I’ve picked up crochet again and discovered the joy of making amigurumi (I found your blog via @PlanetJune). And because I have an inexplicable need to acquire a new skill, I just took my first knitting class.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m channeling my grandmother – she always had a project in her hands. I have an entire cedar chest of her work to prove her craftiness.

Happy Birthday! Mine was just 4 days ago.

My favourite crafts are cross stitch and Bargello stitching. I just got into the latter one when I decided to try to copy a cushion that my grandmother made in the 70s. Fun! I just wish I could show her.
