This morning Canadian news channels are reporting that CSIS (Canada’s version of the FBI, sorta) says a terrorist attack in Canada is inevitable–CBC News: CSIS warns al-Qaeda may target Canada. Quite frankly, this terrifies me. I’m now wishing that we hadn’t moved to Toronto, because it is a likely target.
I hate all this terrorism stuff. I don’t understand why people think they have the right to take other people’s lives, especially in the name of religion. I do know the theories and whatnot, but I don’t understand it, deep down. What is the point of arguing about something that we can not know in this life?! I just wish that the world was a safe place, and that I didn’t have to worry about what I might hear when I turn on the news.

Yuck, double yuck, and triple yuck. I’m sorry to hear that they’re now trying to “spread the love.” Makes me wonder sometimes what is so important about making others just like you that people feel they much blow one another up. (shakes head)
