Stitching Nest

It’s been two weeks since moving day, and we are starting to get settled. The little man started school today, and so we are getting into our new schedule as well.

I’ve been busy with this move than expected. Last time things went very smoothly, even though I was two months pregnant and very sick. This time, with a small child, double space in the new place, and so much to be repaired/repainted/redone, it has been a much more difficult move. Add to that a week of day camp all the way downtown just after we moved (to far away for me to drop him off, come home, and then return), not as much as gotten done as I had hope. However, I did find time to work on a sock:

And, I’ve gotten started on my small for September:

Hopefully we will get into a nice groove soon, and get the rest of the furniture for our living room. 😉 I’m also eagerly awaiting the return of the rest of my crafting supplies. The sewing machine and serger are back, but all my tools and tread are still at my in-laws. Baby steps!

lol … love the pouty face. My mom used to tell us kids that a little birdie would come land on our pouty lip and do it’s business. It was hard to keep up the pout after that image 🙂

Your stitching looks great. Is it a wing?

Haha, my son does Mr Pouty Face too! We use those exact words too 🙂

I’m guessing the small is a dragon?
