Smalls SAL – May 2016 Check-In

Welcome back, Smalls Stitchers! It is time for another Smalls SAL check-in. (If you don’t know what the Smalls SAL is, you can get all the details right here.)

And, again, I would like to say thank you very much to everyone who is participating the stitch-along. I know that this year there are many more international ladies, and I especially appreciate your patience with regards to when these posts go up. I know for some of you it is actually the day after the official check-in day since we live in much different time zones.

Continuing my trend for the first half of the year, I stitched yet another one of Teresa Wentzler’s Byzantium Ornaments (also known as Christmas Ornaments or Stain Glass Ornaments). This is ornament #3 in the kit. Interestingly, it is shown with blue accents on the cover of the kit, but the instructions said to use shades of red. I decided to go with that since I already had a blue ornament but didn’t have any red ones.
