Hello, Stitchy Friends. It has been far too long since my last post. I know I said I would be back to my regular schedule once the little man went back to school, but to be totally honest, I’ve enjoyed doing a whole lot of not very much for the past couple of weeks. I did, of course, manage to fit some stitching in, though.
Just before the end of August I was able to put the final stitches into the July chart for the Joyful World SAL. (More info here.) Like the previous months, I used DMC floss and stitched it on my very large piece of 28 count Lugana in colour Heritage (dyed by Laura of Enchanting Lair).
And, shortly after the little man went back to school, I was able finish up the chart for August. Yay! So that is eight of twelve charts done now. The September and October charts are now available, but I just haven’t had any time to get working on them. :/ Hopefully soon though!
Smalls SAL – It is almost Smalls SAL check-in time again! The check-in post will go live early on the morning (Eastern time) on Thursday, September 29th. I’ve almost got two little designs all stitched up. I can’t wait to share them, and I can’t wait to see what you’ve stitched.
Love the cheerful look on the face of the August dog!
Lovely finishes on the Joyful World SAL, I did up until April then other things got in the way. Look forward to seeing the next month soon.
Lovely finishes.
Great little finishes.
Great job on the Joyful World SAL!
Great work on the Joyful World SAL, I love the flamingos.
I seem to have hardly any time since the boys went back to school!
