A very spooky hello to all you Smalls Stitchers! Welcome to the October Smalls SAL check-in post! (On the correct Friday this time! Sorry about last week’s mix-up.)
If all goes well, this post is going live while I am on a cruise in the Caribbean. (Don’t worry; the house isn’t empty. It never, ever is. Poor thing.) Today is an At Sea day, and I have very spotty, time-limited Internet access. Hopefully everything posts okay and there are no problems. If there are, please rest assured that I will fix things as soon as I’m back on dry land and have a reliable internet connection.
On to the finishes!

This month I stitched up Just Nan’s Batty Boris, and I even finished him! Amazing! He is stitched on a wee piece of grey fabric I found hiding in my stash, and I used the called for DMC threads and Kreinik braid. The beads, little orange button, curlicue, and banner were all included in the kit. I stitched the front of Boris as per the pattern, but instead of repeating his face on the back, I stitched like a true backside.

OMS how cute is he!!! I have him in my stash too stitch. I even have the threads pulled. Ok….maybe if I stitch him I can have him out for a couple days for Halloween. LOL
