It has been about two months since I’ve shared my progress on my Christmas stocking. To be honest, I’ve spent a lot of that two months doing things other than stitching. But, Christmas is just around the corner and I need to get this darn thing done!
I’ve rounded the heel and I’m finally working my way down the foot! There is still a whole lot left to do, but I feel a bit more like the end is in sight.
The pattern is Enchanted Ornaments Stocking from Dimensions. It is a kit, and I am using the fabric and thread that was included.
Heather: This is a beautiful stocking, I bet you are excited it is almost finished.
Blessings

This is looking so lovely. When you work on a piece this size do you put it in a hoop or frame or do you just work on it free form.
It looks perfect.
I nearly always work in hand, even for things like hardanger. I do canvaswork in a frame because I have too. 🙁 But I am happiest working in hand.
Then I shall wish you many uninterrupted hours of stitching!
Great progress, that next bauble will feel like a mini-finish too.
Beautiful! Keep it up.
Piękna skarpeta. Już jesteś na finishu.
You have literally turned the corner on this one! Lovely stitching.
That is incredibly beautiful!
