I haven’t got much serious work done today. In fact, I even started the day off by playing a video game. quanta and I are currently competing to see who will finish the most games by the end of the year, and I was trying to get more done on my current game while he was at work. The score is currently tied 3-3. Which is actually pretty amazing, considering I am famous for never finishing games. Three done in one year, let alone three months, is absolutely astounding.
We had our first spring rain today. It even had the fresh spring smell to it. It was wonderful, although just a little chilly, to go out for a walk and feel the rain gently hitting on my jacket. The apartment smells wonderfully like spring too, thanks to the hyacinth I bought last week. I’m not sure how much longer it is going to live though. I love plants, but I have such a hard time keeping them alive. I’ve only really had luck with my spider plant (which I think would live through a neclear bomb) and my aloe. When it gets a touch warmer, I’m going to start some herb plants as well. I dream of the day that we have a house where I can plant a garden in the backyard.
Since it was obvious that I wasn’t going to get much writing done today, I though I would try a couple of those religion selector quizes (and maybe start a meme? 😉 ). Here is the first one:

I matched 100% to Neo-Paganism, which doesn’t come as a huge surprise. The info they provide about Neo-Paganism is not too bad, although much of it is large generalizations. That is to be expected, I suppose, since it is really an umbrella term that emcompasses so many organized and personal faiths.
The next one I tried, the Wiccan Tradition Selector, was created by Kaatryn MacMorgan, the leader of CFFN and High Priestess of UEW (my own tradition). My results were:
Again, not surprising, since this actually is my choosen tradition. What is surprising is that Discordianism (which is not Wiccan) is the tradition on my list. I find it a little funny since I just can’t get my head around the Principia Discordia. It might be because I’ve sort of lost my sense of humour lately. Maybe I should try to read it, and figure it out as far as I can. I’m not sure I want to give up hot dog buns though. 😉
