November SALsuffit

Finally, my SALsuffit post. Yes, I know I was supposed to post this on November 30th, and I know I said I would post it on December 1st, and I know it is December 2nd (how’d that happen?!).  But, really, I have some great excuses: bad lighting, company, really need to get some sleep, Baby Man teething (last morals, finally), etc.

So, for my November entry for SALsuffit, I finished up four ornaments using fabric, braid, felt and ribbon that I already had.  I also wanted to try framing Trick or Treat Fairy again (cutting the foamcore the right size this time…), but I ran out of November.

Daffycat's Reindeers

Winter Frost is by Patricia Ann Design, and was in last year’s JCS ornament issue.  I left off the outside border, and changed the treasures in the centre of the snowflakes to beads.  (I think that the treasures were much to large for the design.)

The reindeer are from Daffycat.  You can find Jinglebell here and Holly here.  One of the Holly ornaments is for my mom to give to her boss. I seem to have a fixation on reindeer this year, and would so love to the new Just Nan ornament and the one from Inkcircles.
