Hello, Smalls Stitchers! Welcome to (yet another delayed) Smalls Stitch-Along Check-in! Thank you very, very much for sticking with it through all these delays and issues this year. I promise things will get better.
Will get better, you ask. Indeed. The Smalls SAL will be returning in 2018 with a few minor tweaks and changes. I’ll be releasing all the details this coming Wednesday. So, please check back then.
In the meantime, let’s get to the penultimate check-in of 2017. Can you believe it? We’ve made it to November! And, if you’ve been lucky enough to find the time to keep up, you’ll have at least eleven finished smalls. Way to go! And if you only have a few, or even only one, done, you’ve still got more done now then you did at the start of the year. Yay!

This month I stitched two different mice from Just Nan. The one on the left is the Gingerbread Reindeer Mouse which was released in 2105, and the one of the right is the Gingerbread Angel Mouse from 2014. (I do have all the others, but lost two of them. Thankfully the original mouse has just been re-released and I have it on order! Yay!) They are both stitched as per the pattern using DMC floss. I used 32 count Lugana in Mocha rather than one of the called for colours because that is what my LNS had in stock.

The mice are adorable! I have three Witchy Mice but haven’t made them up yet. So glad that the Smalls SAL will continue next year.
