Hello, Stitchy Friends! Can you believe that I am actually early for a change. I’m sure you won’t believe it, but irl I am actually always on time (if not 15 minutes early). There is something about this blog that makes it so hard for me to remember to post things. I’ll have posts all written up, forget to publish them, and then end up deleting them later when they are no longer relevant. :/
Anyway, on to Work-In-Progress Wednesday–a whole day early! Why? Because tomorrow I’m going to share all the details for Smalls SAL 2018! Yay!
Check out my stocking! The end is in sight, and I’m starting to think it is possible that I will actually have it all done in time for Christmas Eve. There is a fair bit of back-stitching to do, but I think I can do it.
The design is Enchanted Ornaments Stocking from Dimensions. I am stitching it using all the materials from the kit. The floss is solidly okay and the adia fabric is fine. It isn’t silk and high quality linen, but it isn’t bad either.
I’m feeling so good about being able to get my stocking done that I am having to really try hard to resist the urge to get out the kit for my husband’s stocking (the last one I have to stitch!!), and get it all sorted and ready. One thing at a time, right?
Lovely progress on your stocking! Well done :o)
Yes, it would be a pity to lose focus now…
My blog platform allows me to schedule posts to be published automagically(!) so maybe you could see whether yours does the same?
This is very pretty!
Wow this one is just beautiful. Good luck finishing it off.
Cheering you on for a finish!
Your stitching is beautiful! I want to do stockings this coming year 2018! I hope to show my progress as I have a few I want to make! hugs, queeny
