My Return

I’m back, just like I said I would be. 🙂 Last week was full of ups and downs, but over all I enjoyed it. I took the time to recharge and think. I went to a career fair (which was a bust), and spent a day at the ROM. I walked, and then walked some more. I took myself out for ice cream. I read books, and I cooked wonderful meals for quanta and myself. And, most importantly, I literally took some time to stop and smell the flowers.

Part of the reason I took a break from blogging was because I was a little unsure of where I want to take Reflections. Most of my entries are about issues relating to Wicca, spirituality and Tarot, and those that aren’t are usually just memes. I actually really enjoy doing memes. You, Dear Reader, may not get much out of them, but they are surprisingly good at revealing me to me.

So, I’ve been thinking about how I want to see things evolve around here. First, I will certainly continue writing entries on topics like Wicca and spirituality. But I want to write a little more about me, about who I am. Again, Dear Reader, this may or may not mean very much to you. However, I have come to realize that the blogging process is about me, and about discovering who I am. It may seem strange to you that I claim not to know who I am, but it really isn’t that strange at all. Life has a funny way of stopping us from discovering who we are, if we let it. And I’m not willing to let it get in the way anymore.

Reflections will also be getting a facelift sometime within the next week. I have really enjoyed this template from Quixotic Pixels, but it is time for a change. quanta has been diligently working away on a new template that reflects my personality a little better, as well as nicely complementing my main site The Lotus Pond.

I hope all my Gentle Readers will enjoy the changes, and stick around to discover who I really am. I know I can’t wait to find out.
