I’m a Wanderer

I feel a little silly admitting this, but one of my New Year’s Resolutions, year after year, is to spend more nights at home in my own bed. Yet, life seems to conspire against me, and I seem to travel more and more every year. Last year it was a trip to Mexico to get married, this year it has been business trips up north. Who knows what next year will bring.

In reality, I don’t like to travel. I am afraid of airplanes, and I don’t really care for hotel rooms. I like being at home in my comfy apartment, where everything is mine and where I can relax. But if I only stayed here in Toronto, I’d never get to see anything new, or meet new people.

Interested in where I have been in the last twelve months? Keep reading.

Red markers show where I have been, and yellow markers show where I am going.

To quote one of my favorite authors (Tolkein), those who wander are not always lost. 🙂 If you are one to believe in fate maybe you are meant to go to all these places to bring back experiences to share. But What would I know I have only lived in 3 states and five countries ;).

Out of random curiousity, do you ever review the books in your current reading list? I would love to know what you think about them.
