A while back I did a profile on LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet. Well, a lot has changed with them lately, so I figured it was time to take another look at one of my favourite online craft shops. (Keep reading for a special discount code!)
LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet have combined together, added a dash of needlework (yes, cross stitch!!), and are now LoveCrafts. You can still find all the great yarns and patterns that used to be part of LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet, and they also now carry DMC floss, cross stitch kits, and lots of other goodies. And, as I understand it, more needlework is on the way.
The yarn selection of LoveCrafts is excellent. I’m crocheting up a positively spooky Lost Souls Shawl using a ball of Scheepjes Whirl in Liqourice Yumyum that I bought from LoveCrafts. How awesome will this shawl look with tessellating skulls ranging from black at the bottom to white along the top? (You can get my favourite crochet hooks from LoveCrafts too–Clover Soft Touch.)
I’m probably most excited about the new needlework section. Cross stitch is my first love, and I’m always so happy to find new places to buy awesome cross stitch kits. LoveCrafts carries tons of DMC kits, which can be hard to find in North America. I’ve already added a couple of kits to my cart in anticipation of my next order.
And, speaking of orders, LoveCrafts has given me a discount code to share with all of you. From now until August 31st, 2019, use the code LOTUS15 to receive 15% off on all orders of $10+. Make sure to add the code when you check out to get your discount. And, be sure to come back here and let me know what you bought. Yarn, notions, a cross stitch kit?
While you are visiting LoveCrafts, be sure to take a look at the Inspiration tabs in each section. They are full of tutorials, round-up articles, and lots more. LoveCrafts is much more than an online craft shop. It is a crafty community full of ideas.
(LoveCrafts graciously supplied a discount code, but they did not pay me for this post in any way. I do not receive any commission from your purchases. All opinions in this post are my own.)
