Boxes are pilled up everywhere. Seriously, everywhere. I’m getting a bit overwhelmed, but I’m still trying to take some time to do a little bit of stitch to calm myself down.
I rummaged around what I still had unpacked and pulled out Water Dragon, which was designed by Jennifer Aikman-Smith for the 2009 Creativ Festival. It was part of a joint class with Teresa Wentzler, whose design was Fire Dragon (but which I haven’t started yet). Sadly, that was the year Teresa wasn’t able to make it. It was still a great class though, since Jennifer is wonderful.
We are in the final countdown to our move now. The house is officially ours on the 12th, and the move will take place on the 19th. During the week between, we will be cleaning, painting, and moving up things like kitchen items, the little man’s toys, etc. It is a 30 minute drive between our two places, so it won’t be too bad. And, you know I will make time to stitch and/or knit during all of this. 😉

How funny, I chose this design to illustrate the letter K for my Hallowe’en Alphabet on the SAL Blog.
He was supposed to be a “knucker” which is a type of water dragon. K was hard to find stuff for!

Love this little water dragon. You’re almost there. The 19th will be here before you know it.
Cute dragon Heather. Good luck with the move.
The dragon looks great. I haven’t finished mine yet.
Congratulations on the new house.
He’s so sweet, the little water dragon.
I hope everything goes well with the move.
